About CVAR inc
Connecticut Valley Addiction Recovery, Inc. (CVAR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to treating and supporting people with substance use and related disorders. Serving the Upper Valley community from White River Junction, Vermont, CVAR helps individuals and their loved ones take practical steps toward recovery in a confidential, supportive environment.
Its approach combines medication-assisted treatment with counseling, nursing intervention, and case management, addressing both substance use and related mental and emotional challenges. Individual counseling is tailored to each person’s circumstances, while group therapy offers opportunities to learn from and support others. Case managers help clients navigate services within the program and connect with resources in the wider community.
CVAR’s clinical team works with clients to build skills for sustained recovery and reduce the risk of relapse. The organization also engages community support through donations and shares information about its services, events, and impact. CVAR aims to help people move toward healthier lives and assures those seeking help that they do not have to face addiction alone
