Concho Valley EC is a cooperative owned and overseen by the west central Texas customers we serve (known as "Members"). Electric cooperatives were created under the Rural Electrification Act in 1936 to bring electricity to farm and ranch communities unserved by investor-owned utilities. The law allowed rural residents to incorporate under a cooperative model and receive low-cost loans from the federal government.

About Concho Valley EC
Concho Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) is a utility brand that offers electric services to its consumer-members. When you sign up with CVEC, you automatically become a member and part-owner of the cooperative, giving you a say in how the utility operates. CVEC's annual meeting is a valuable opportunity for consumer-members to make their voices heard.
At the meeting, you'll receive reports from co-op officials on the business's performance and have the chance to participate in electing the board of directors. This ensures that local individuals, not distant stockholders, are involved in running the community's utility. The 84th Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 18th.
By attending, you become an essential part of the utility that you and your neighbors own.
