The Club de Voile de Joué-lès-Tours (CVJ) is a sailing club founded in 1965 and based at Lac des Bretonnières, near Joué-lès-Tours and Ballan-Miré in France. It offers sailing activities for children, teenagers and adults, welcoming participants from age six and adapting instruction to different abilities and experience levels. Members can sail throughout the year, learning or improving their dinghy skills and enjoying recreational sailing, board sports and competition.
The club also runs five-day sailing courses, including introductory and skill-development sessions and, for adults, an introduction to regatta sailing. Visitors can rent dinghies, catamarans and paddleboards, while birthday activities are also available. Its fleet includes a range of sailing boats and catamarans.
The club’s educational project supports people with and without physical or sensory disabilities and offers training and certification across five sailing levels. Operating with an active committee and 15 volunteers, CVJ provides opportunities to discover sailing, progress as a sailor and develop navigation projects in a welcoming club environment
