CV United Softball

Crescenta Valley United Softball Association, known as CV United, is a nonprofit, parent-volunteer organization serving girls and families in greater Glendale, California. With no residential boundaries, the association welcomes players from anywhere and offers divisions from 6U through 14U, with a 16U division noted as forthcoming. Its programs support beginners learning the fundamentals as well as experienced players preparing for more advanced and high school-level softball.

CV United runs spring, fall recreation, competitive fall, select, and summer All-Star programs. Recreation play emphasizes skill development, while competitive teams play doubleheaders and require tryouts. Depending on the division, instruction and gameplay cover hitting, catching, throwing, pitching, base running, and increasingly advanced strategies. The association also offers sponsored skills clinics and shares schedules, standings, playing rules, equipment guidance, and team information. Registration includes access to TeamSnap team-management tools; certain programs provide a jersey and socks, while pants and belts are purchased separately. CV United invites community members to volunteer as coaches, managers, parent representatives, or board members, with required screening and SafeSport training for volunteers.
