About CW&T
CW&T is a dynamic and innovative design practice that aims to create the things they want to see in the world. Founded by Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy, two talented individuals with backgrounds in Architecture, Film, and Computer Science, CW&T takes a scale and medium agnostic approach to design. With a strong foundation from NYU ITP, their design practice encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including time, electronics, hardware, programming, inflatables, and morphology.
They have also taken their expertise into the academic realm, teaching courses on design and technology at prestigious institutions like Pratt Institute, New York University, and the School for Poetic Computation. CW&T's work has received recognition, including the prestigious National Design Award for Product Design from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Located in their Brooklyn-based studio and prototyping shop, they continue to push boundaries and create solutions that enhance our relationships with work, life, and time.
Their projects are diverse and include interactive software, human-scaled tools, devices that alter our perception of time, and objects engineered to last multiple generations. CW&T shares their process with their community, offering insights and lending a helping hand to those interested in bringing their ideas to fruition
