About Center for Women's Justice
The Center for Women's Justice is a leading legal organization dedicated to fighting for women's rights, equality, and justice within the Jewish legal system in Israel. Since its establishment in 2004, the center has been a refuge for Israeli women experiencing challenges within the realm of personal religious law. They provide assistance in cases of aginut (refusal of divorce), mamzerut (children born outside of certain marriage circumstances), and conversion issues, mainly concerning women.
The center's primary goal is to promote fundamental solutions to the problems of aginut, get refusal, the annulment of coerced divorce agreements, and issues related to mamzerut. By representing women in court, they are striving to bring about reforms in how the civil and religious courts handle these matters. The center's efforts extend beyond legal representation, as they actively engage in public campaigns, produce publications, and organize professional conferences on women in Jewish law.
Join the Center for Women's Justice in their mission to bring about meaningful change and promote justice for all women
