About Security Industry Association
The Security Industry Association's Cybersecurity Advisory Board is an appointed group of industry experts dedicated to ensuring the cyber-resiliency of the physical security industry. With a mission to guide SIA members in proactively addressing potential cybersecurity issues, the board provides prescriptive guidance and advocacy for new strategies and solutions. As the industry continues to embrace the Internet of Things and secure networked devices, the board's leadership helps SIA members stay prepared for emerging challenges.
Comprised of representatives from SIA member organizations and partners, the board advises SIA's Board of Directors, staff, and membership on various cybersecurity initiatives. This includes creating educational content in the form of papers, webinars, and research, advising on cybersecurity education, analyzing legislation and standards, and collaborating with other associations and organizations to strengthen cybersecurity efforts in the industry
