About Cycling BC
The BC Cup Downhill Series is renowned as Canada’s premier downhill mountain bike racing series, designed for thrill-seekers and competitive athletes alike. Set against the stunning backdrops of British Columbia's top mountain biking destinations, the series features a collection of gravity-fueled events that challenge riders’ skills and endurance. Participants have the opportunity to accrue points throughout the season, ultimately vying for the coveted title of overall BC Cup champion.
With events scheduled at iconic venues such as Whistler, Fernie, and Big White, each race offers a chance to showcase talent on technical tracks well-suited for both seasoned pros and aspiring newcomers. The series includes training camps, technical clinics, and provisions for youth development with programs like HopOn (iRide).
