CycloSteel is a brand that is dedicated to turning scrap metal into high-quality alloyed steel. With a focus on sustainability, CycloSteel recycles locally collected scrap metal, avoiding the need for mining or long supply chains. The brand's steelmaking technology utilizes a solar power park that provides 40% of the electricity needed to melt 350 thousand tons of scrap metal annually in an electric arc furnace.
In addition, CycloSteel uses green hydrogen produced from water by a Proton Exchange Membrane electrolyser, eliminating greenhouse gas emissions. By incorporating 35% solar and 65% other green electricity, CycloSteel aims to produce tons of alloyed green steel every year by 2025 and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. CycloSteel's product range includes alloyed billets, alloyed rolled bars, and alloyed ingots, which are used in various industries such as automotive, chemical, and mechanical.
