Cyd

Cyd is a groundbreaking desktop application developed by Lockdown Systems LLC, designed to empower users to take control of their data on tech platforms, particularly X. Aimed at individuals seeking to regain privacy, Cyd allows users to selectively backup and delete their tweets, likes, and direct messages, ensuring they maintain command over their online footprint. Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, Cyd bypasses traditional API constraints by directly interacting with X's interface, eliminating the risk of data access loss.

With Cyd, users can easily specify criteria for tweet deletion, such as removing older posts while keeping those that have garnered significant engagement. This flexibility enables users to manage their accounts effectively while maintaining their usernames to avoid impersonation. Moreover, Cyd provides a local backup of all data, including HTML snapshots, without storing sensitive information on external servers. As an open-source project, Cyd also encourages community involvement in enhancing user privacy. Download Cyd today to reclaim your digital space effortlessly!
