CYDC Basketball

CYDC Panthers Basketball is a Calgary youth basketball organization focused on helping athletes develop their skills and become hardworking, respectful people on and off the court. The program welcomes players across a range of ages and experience levels, offering both club teams and house-league opportunities.

For younger players, CYDC runs Beginners League programs for ages 3–12, with age-based groups designed to introduce basketball and build foundational skills. Junior and Senior Panthers programs serve athletes roughly ages 9–18, with full-year and seasonal options. Players can also join skills-focused academies, camps and clinics, or pursue more intensive development through Elite Basketball Training. Training options include personal and group sessions, junior skills training, and skills, strength and conditioning programs for older athletes.

CYDC shares program updates, registration information and event news through its website and social media channels. The organization is also a proud youth sports partner of the Calgary Surge. With offerings spanning introductory play through advanced training, CYDC provides young athletes with opportunities to learn, practise and participate in basketball.
