CYKLOKLUB NIŽNÁ

Cykloklub Nižná is a community cycling club based in the Orava region of Slovakia, bringing people together through outdoor activities throughout the year. The club organizes around 30 cycling events annually, exploring local routes as well as destinations in neighboring Poland and the Czech Republic. Its activities range from relaxed rides and mountain biking to timed challenges and longer tours, including events such as Okolo Tatier, Cyklohaluška, and Cyklopohoda. The club also shares information about cycling routes, including rides around the Tatras and across Orava and Liptov.

Beyond cycling, Cykloklub Nižná arranges walking trips, particularly in spring and autumn. These outings visit mountain areas such as the Western Tatras and Roháče, the High Tatras, and the Malá and Veľká Fatra ranges. In winter, members take part in cross-country skiing and organized ski tours, making use of the opportunities available in Orava. The club publishes its planned activities and past event archives online, and acknowledges sponsors who help support its program.
