CzechGlobe is a European Centre of Excellence and project partner for numerous EU projects. They are committed to upholding the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. In recognition of their dedication, CzechGlobe was awarded the prestigious HR Excellence in Research Award by the European Commission in October 2019.

CzechGlobe prioritizes their participation in building the European Research Area and the quality of their Human Resources Strategy. They underwent an internal GAP analysis to compare their practices with the requirements of the Charter and Code. This analysis led to the development of an Action Plan, which was submitted to the European Commission for evaluation in June 2019.

Now, CzechGlobe is in the implementation phase of the HR Excellence in Research Award project. They have undergone an interim assessment to evaluate their progress and have prepared a revised Action Plan for the next three years. The implementation of the Action Plan has been deemed robust and systematic, allowing CzechGlobe to continue their work in fostering a long-term sustainable, international, and prestigious research environment.
