Našim posláním je iniciovat a podporovat změny v českém sportovním prostředí a jeho celkovou transformaci a usilovat o vytvoření rovného prostředí bez diskriminace. Znevýhodnění žen na základě pohlaví je problémem (nejen) českého sportu a CZEWIS chce skrze svou činnost tuto problematiku adresovat formou odborného diskursu. Jsme připraveni na základě mandátu svých členek navrhovat a prosazovat na státní úrovni legislativní změny, které povedou k zavedení povinných kvót a zvýšení celkového počtu žen v rozhodovacích orgánech a ve správě sportu na všech úrovních v České republice.

About Czewis
CZEWIS, or Česká Žena ve Sportu (Czech Women in Sports), is dedicated to transforming the landscape of Czech sports by advocating for equality and challenging the discrimination faced by women. The organization aims to initiate and support significant changes within the sports environment, focusing on creating an inclusive space for all genders. CZEWIS addresses the systemic disadvantages women encounter in sports through expert discourse and advocacy initiatives.
Empowered by a mandate from its members, CZEWIS actively proposes and champions legislative reforms at the national level, seeking to establish mandatory quotas that will increase female representation in decision-making bodies and administration across all levels of sport in the Czech Republic. Their vision encompasses a future where women’s contributions are recognized and valued in the sports community.
