D3 Nation Basketball Association

D3 Nation Basketball Association (D3NBA) is a youth basketball organization based in Lansing, Michigan, dedicated to making the sport accessible and inclusive. Founded in October 2023 by longtime youth coach and mentor Walter Cooper, the association supports young athletes’ physical, mental, and social development through basketball and community connection. Its programs emphasize skill-building alongside character, teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and confidence, helping participants grow on and off the court.

D3 Nation aims to welcome players regardless of background or financial ability and offers free or low-cost camps and clinics to broaden access to training and personal development. The organization’s coaching team brings experience across youth and high school basketball, with a focus on fundamentals, decision-making, player development, and positive relationships. Coaches also promote an environment where athletes feel included, supported, and encouraged to reach their potential.

Through its teams, camps, clinics, and mentorship, D3NBA provides young people with opportunities to learn the game, develop life skills, and take part in a supportive basketball community
