'Dברו אלינו' is a unique initiative founded in 2016 by Daphna Eisenreich to encourage equal communication in Hebrew. Our work is based on the belief that there is a connection between language and reality, and that language plays a significant role in promoting (or hindering) gender equality. Our goal is for as many individuals and organizations in Israeli society to understand how language promotes gender equality, and to implement inclusive and equal communication as much as possible.

The actions of 'דברו אלינו' include raising awareness and public support through social media, providing knowledge and practical tools through lectures and workshops, and influencing policy and decision-making centers. Through our activities, partnerships, and collaborations, we have driven significant changes in the public discourse in Israel. Many organizations and individuals recognize the importance of equal communication and invest resources in creating texts that appeal to everyone.

While the Hebrew language presents challenges in achieving equal writing, there are many ways to address women and men in a gender-inclusive manner, respecting the rules of the Hebrew Language Academy.
