Dachbox Schwerin

Dachbox Schwerin is a local roof-box rental service helping drivers create extra space for holidays, weekend trips and other journeys. Instead of buying equipment that may only be used occasionally, customers can rent a 421-litre roof box for a minimum of three days at €8 per day, with a €350 deposit. The box measures 192 by 82 by 42 centimetres, supports a maximum load of 75 kilograms and opens from both sides. It features a central locking system and quick-fit mounting, and can carry skis up to 175 centimetres long, subject to the vehicle’s permitted roof load.

Customers can check availability through an online calendar and submit a rental request for their chosen dates. Collection takes place in Cambs, about 15 kilometres from Schwerin. Installation and removal are available at no extra charge, and two cargo straps are included. Roof bars can also be rented for €2 per day, provided the vehicle has open roof rails.
