DADDYLAB was a Japanese brand specializing in custom parts for Strider balance bikes, serving children and their families for 15 years. Its products included handlebars, grips, stems, spacers, seats, wheels and tires, protectors, decals, and other components designed to personalize bikes. The brand also shared customization guides, product information, build reports, and galleries to help families choose and enjoy their setups. DADDYLAB’s products and activities were closely connected to children’s running-bike events, including the Strider Cup, where the team met riders and families across Japan.
Alongside its retail business, DADDYLAB ran the Kids Smile Project’s Cheering Fund, supporting charities involved in preventing child abuse and assisting children’s homes. Started in 2013, the fund collected donations through events and the online shop. The company reported that ¥1,700,250 had been raised and donated in full to the Orange Ribbon child-abuse prevention campaign and Ishizue no Ishi Orphanage. DADDYLAB announced that its custom-parts business and fundraising activities would end on June 30, 2026.
