Der Deutsche Aero Club e.V. (DAeC) ist der Dachverband der deutschen Luftsportverbände. Er vertritt die Interessen der rund 90.000 Pilotinnen und Piloten gegenüber Politik und Behörden, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft. In der nationalen Sportpolitik ist der Deutsche Olympische Sportbund sein engster Partner. Auf internationaler Ebene ist der DAeC Mitglied bei Europe Air Sports, dem Verband der nationalen Aeroclubs in Europa, und der FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale), dem Weltluftsportverband. Der DAeC ist der zweitgrößte Luftsportverband Europas.

About DAeC
DAeC Deutscher Aero Club e. V. Representing the interests of approximately 90,000 pilots, the club advocates for them in relation to politics, authorities, business, and society.
In national sports politics, the club maintains a close partnership with the German Olympic Sports Confederation. Furthermore, at the international level, DAeC is a member of Europe Air Sports, the association of national aeroclubs in Europe, and the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale), the world aviation sports federation. As the second-largest aviation sports association in Europe, DAeC offers a variety of services and products.
These include training programs, certifications, competitions, and events in a wide range of sports disciplines such as gliding, ultralight flying, parachute jumping, model flying, motor flying, and hang gliding. Additionally, DAeC provides information and resources related to aviation technology, flight safety, airspace, and environmental conservation
