Dädalus e V

MFSC Dädalus e. V. is a model aviation club serving Essen, Bochum, Gelsenkirchen, Herne and the wider Ruhr region. Active since 1964, the club brings together newcomers and experienced pilots to enjoy model flying, share knowledge and take part in a welcoming hobby community. Its flying field provides a place to practise and fly a broad range of aircraft, from traditional gliders to modern motor-powered and electric models.

The club welcomes people of all ages and offers interested visitors the opportunity to try model flying and learn the basics. Members can find information about membership, guest flying, club projects and models, and videos through the club’s website. MFSC Dädalus also hosts activities and events, including its annual summer celebration and other flying gatherings, and shares updates on club news and regional events. Whether someone is curious about model aviation or already an enthusiastic pilot, the club offers a way to experience the hobby firsthand and connect with fellow flyers in the Ruhr area.
