Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust is a revered institution in Pune, symbolizing devotion and community spirit linked to the beloved deity, Lord Ganesha. Founded by Shri Dagdusheth Halwai and his wife Lakshmibai in memory of their late son, the trust has transformed into a beacon of cultural and social welfare. Over the years, the Ganesh festival at this temple has evolved from a private affair into a citywide celebration, spurred by pioneers like Lokmanya Tilak and Tatyasaheb Godse.

Today, the trust not only organizes a vibrant Ganeshotsav but also prioritizes social initiatives, offering educational assistance to underprivileged children, micro-financing opportunities to local entrepreneurs, and support for the elderly through an old age home. The trust's commitment to serving humanity reflects its mission to blend spirituality with social responsibility. With a rich history, engaging activities, and a deep connection to its community, Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust remains an inspiring cornerstone of Pune's cultural heritage.
