Dagorhir

Dagorhir Battle Games is a live-action roleplaying organization centered on fast-paced, full-contact combat and medieval fantasy experiences. Described as the oldest and arguably largest organization of its kind in the United States, Dagorhir has chapters across the country, from Maine to Hawaii, as well as chapters in other parts of the world. Its events bring participants together for physical battles using weapons and shields, alongside opportunities to build characters, costumes, armor, and heraldry.

The experience extends beyond combat: gatherings also feature socializing, storytelling, music, dancing, and campfire festivities, creating a community atmosphere rooted in shared adventure. Dagorhir provides resources for newcomers and established players, including rules, a Manual of Arms, beginner guidance, and advice on running chapters, forming clubs, and organizing battles. Participants can find or start a local chapter, explore community forums, and browse an events calendar.

The organization also publishes news and official announcements, supports chapter development, and accepts donations. Dagorhir offers an immersive way to combine active play, creative craftsmanship, and fellowship in a medieval-inspired setting
