Dagtilbuddet NOVA

Dagtilbuddet NOVA is a specialized day service in Lynge, North Zealand, for adults with autism and related developmental disorders. Operating under Section 104 of Denmark’s Social Services Act, NOVA supports people with cognitive and communication challenges who benefit from structure, reassurance and professional guidance. Its work centers on each individual’s wellbeing, participation, personal development and experience of mastery, with the aim of making every day meaningful.

NOVA provides an individually adapted, neuropedagogical approach grounded in attentive relationships and a shared professional framework. Support includes activities such as daily living skills (ADL) training, social skills development, communication support, sign-supported speech and work with coping strategies. The service also focuses on sensory integration and sensory processing, using predictable, supportive surroundings and sensory activities to help individuals understand and regulate sensory experiences.

Daily life includes activities outside the centre, cooking and dedicated rooms and workshops. NOVA emphasizes communication and collaboration, and provides information for caseworkers about its target group, prices, available places, professional practice and oversight.
