Dahoam

Dahoam Refugium & Chalet is a small, adults-only retreat in Schenna, South Tyrol, overlooking the Merano region. Created as a private home rather than a conventional hotel, it welcomes guests aged 14 and older to enjoy a peaceful stay shaped by thoughtful architecture, comfort and connection with nature. The property offers five individual luxury suites and two private chalets, each designed to provide privacy and a calm place to unwind.

Guests can make use of a chemical-free natural pool, garden, hot tub and sauna facilities. The chalets feature private saunas, and some include a wood-burning stove; the Refugium also offers a library. The accommodation is built with sustainability in mind, including passive-house construction and climate-conscious timber building, complemented by carefully selected or custom-designed furnishings.

Set amid the South Tyrolean landscape, Dahoam provides a base for hiking, mountain biking, skiing and exploring local food, culture and wineries. Guests also receive the Südtirol Guest Pass Schenna, which supports car-free travel on participating public transport and services across the region.
