DAHW

The German Leprosy and Tuberculosis Relief Association (DAHW) is a charitable organization working to advance health as a human right and support people affected by leprosy, tuberculosis and other neglected tropical diseases. It operates in 15 countries across four continents, delivering around 120 projects in collaboration with local partners, including in hard-to-reach communities.

DAHW’s work combines disease prevention and care with broader efforts to improve wellbeing and inclusion. Its programs address leprosy, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, humanitarian assistance, water, sanitation and hygiene, research, and One Health. The organization also promotes participation and helps people with disabilities access health and rehabilitation services and opportunities for self-empowerment.

Alongside its international projects, DAHW provides educational resources and global learning activities, and invites individuals, companies, foundations and schools to support its work through donations, fundraising and volunteering.
