Dakshana Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping bright and impoverished students, mainly from rural India, prepare for IIT and medical entrance exams. Their mission is to alleviate poverty through education. Dakshana identifies brilliant but underprivileged teenagers and provides them with intensive coaching for 1-2 years to help them excel in these competitive exams.

Dakshana's programs are conducted at seven campuses across India and are designed to uplift students from poverty and give them a chance to succeed academically. Their team consists of professionals who bring diverse experience from the business world and India's armed services. Dakshana Scholars are selected from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and government schools based on their academic record and results from Dakshana's proprietary testing.
