Dalfaz Alm is a family-run mountain inn in the Rofan range above Maurach am Achensee, Tirol, at an elevation of 1,693 metres. Run by the Moser family, the alpine refuge welcomes hikers and visitors seeking mountain scenery, traditional hospitality and a peaceful place to unwind. Guests can enjoy food and drink in the inn, including hearty alpine snacks and the house’s well-known Kaiserschmarren, served on a sunny terrace.
The property has two dining rooms seating 50 to 60 people and offers overnight stays in a double room or shared dormitory. It is accessible on foot, making it a destination for day trips as well as hiking excursions and overnight stays. The surrounding region offers numerous walking and mountain-tour opportunities, while the family also hosts hut evenings and welcomes groups, families and celebrations.
During summer, the alpine pastures are home to cattle, pigs and sheep. Visitors can also see historic dairy-making equipment in the old cheese hut, which dates to 1664
