Da m’a dit is a Franco-Togolese humanitarian association dedicated to maternal and child health, family wellbeing and education in Togo. Its volunteer-led work focuses on prevention and practical support, with the aim of helping mothers, young girls and children access information and appropriate care. The association promotes newborn medical care, vaccinations, health education and early support for mothers and young children after maternity care. Its broader activities include raising awareness of public health issues and addressing risks such as dehydration, malnutrition and disease.
Da m’a dit also plans to establish maternal and child health centres in Africa. These centres are intended to provide preventive medical and paramedical care, education, psychological support, screening and opportunities for families to seek advice and talk with health workers. The association presents its work with respect for local customs and traditional practices.
