Antica Pizzeria da Michele is a historic Neapolitan pizzeria founded in Naples in 1870, known for its commitment to simplicity and traditional pizza-making. The brand describes its approach as a way to preserve the flavors of the past, with a focused menu of just four pizzas. It highlights ingredients sourced from Campania, including flour, fiordilatte cheese and olive oil, selected from specialist local producers.
The original restaurant is on Via Cesare Sersale in Naples. The brand has also opened locations in Salerno, Aversa, Pompeii and Caserta, alongside Michele Express outlets. Through its Michele in the World franchise, its pizza tradition reaches customers in places including Rome, Milan, Barcelona, London, Tokyo and Fukuoka.
The company also promotes ingredient and supply-chain traceability through Authentico, a digital platform that uses blockchain certification. Its website offers information about locations, news and events, and an app. Rooted in Naples while expanding internationally, Antica Pizzeria da Michele presents its restaurants as a place to experience a long-standing local food tradition.
