Damietta Alliance Container Terminals, located at the strategic Port of Damietta in Egypt, is poised to become a key player in container shipping in the Eastern Mediterranean. Set to commence operations in early 2025, this state-of-the-art terminal is a collaborative venture featuring notable partners such as Hapag-Lloyd AG, EUROGATE Group, and Contship Italia. With an impressive quay length of 1,670 meters and a terminal area of 93 hectares, the facility will cater to the latest generation of container vessels.
Damietta Alliance boasts advanced infrastructures, including deep water berths with 18 meters of water depth, high-stacking yard equipment, and ship-to-shore gantry cranes capable of handling 25 rows of containers. The terminal's efficient IT systems will further enhance operational performance, making it a vital hub for international trade.
