Dance Centre Kenya is Kenya's premier dance school, founded in January 2015. With over 700 students and three studios located in Karen Hardy, Lavington, and Rosslyn, DCK offers world-class dance and gymnastics training. The school also provides classes in 22 schools throughout Nairobi, reaching and nurturing even more aspiring dancers.

Established by the Plumbe, Shaw/Dolan, and Vadera families, DCK's vision is to offer exceptional training to the children of Kenya. Under the artistic direction of professional American ballerina Cooper Rust, the school has expanded its range of dance classes, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and musical theatre. DCK is renowned for its exquisite performances, with the annual Nutcracker ballet becoming a beloved tradition.

The school's sponsorship program, in collaboration with Artists for Africa, has provided opportunities for talented dancers from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue their dreams. DCK is committed to excellence, offering technical training, RAD Syllabus-based examinations, and multiple performance opportunities. With a highly experienced team of dance teachers, including Maylene Chenjerayi, Henry Mwaniki, Charles Kamau, and Alvin Weru, DCK provides aspiring dancers with the skills, passion, and support needed to achieve their goals
