About Daniel Morcombe Foundation
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is dedicated to educating children and young people about staying safe both in physical and online environments. Founded by parents Bruce and Denise Morcombe, after the abduction and murder of their son Daniel in 2003, the Foundation aims to make Australia a safer place for children. Their resources include an interactive animation, worksheet, and guides for teachers, parents, and carers, specifically designed for children aged 8 to 12 to learn about online safety.
These resources teach children how to recognize red flags, listen to their body clues, and report online grooming and suspicious behavior. In addition to providing education, the Foundation also supports young victims of crime. Through personal child safety education, resources, and counseling services, they strive to prevent abuse and promote lifelong health and wellbeing.
By donating to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, you can help protect and support children, families, and communities, making a real difference in their lives
