Dansk Smerteforum (DSF) is a Danish professional network dedicated to advancing knowledge, collaboration and influence in the field of pain. Its purpose is to promote understanding of pain, pain treatment and research in Denmark, while strengthening cooperation nationally and internationally. The organization brings together people from a broad range of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, psychology, physiotherapy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, social work and research.

DSF supports members and the wider professional community by sharing knowledge, connecting clinicians with researchers, and promoting the development of national guidelines and clinical guidance. It organizes scientific meetings and contributes to teaching and professional education. The forum also represents the pain field through consultation responses and engagement with organizations such as the Danish Regions and the Danish Health Authority.

International collaboration is an important part of its work. DSF participates in forums and partnerships including the Scandinavian Association for the Study of Pain, the European Pain Federation and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
