Danish Shooting Stars is a Danish support association dedicated to raising funds for charitable activities benefiting elite para-shooters. It helps athletes meet costs such as sporting equipment and competition travel, particularly when disability limits their ability to work and cover these expenses themselves. Donations come from people connected to or interested in shooting, including athletes, families, friends, partners and other supporters. Contributions can support the whole team or an individual shooter chosen by the donor.
The association supports athletes competing in disciplines including pistol and air rifle. Its athlete profiles feature competitors such as Buster Antonsen, a pistol shooter and member of Denmark’s para national team, whose achievements include fifth place in the 10-metre pistol event at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Danish Shooting Stars also shares athlete information, news, events and competition results, and invites businesses to become sponsors. The organisation is based in Hellerup, Denmark, and relies on community support to help para-shooting develop and enable its athletes to pursue their sporting ambitions.
