Danilo Macrì

A cybersecurity specialist with a long-standing interest in Slackware GNU/Linux, Danilo uses the site to share ideas, guides, and other subjects he finds interesting. Its articles cover a broad mix of topics, including web development with WordPress and Hugo, artificial intelligence, Bash, Git, Linux, security, privacy, and open-source software, alongside creative interests and personal reflections.

The site also features project and package sections, including Slackware-related packages, hintfiles, a helper, and a build system. These resources complement the practical how-to content and discussions published on the blog. Rather than presenting a conventional product catalogue, danix.xyz serves as a personal knowledge-sharing hub where visitors can explore articles and discover technical projects and tools. The site is available in Italian and English, and its stated focus includes open source and privacy. Built with Hugo and other web technologies, it emphasizes accessibility, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader compatibility.
