Danmarks Vilde Natur

Danmarks Vilde Natur is a Danish nature advocacy association dedicated to making the country’s landscapes wilder and restoring natural processes. It promotes nature conservation through public information, policy statements, local activities, and support for projects that protect or regenerate habitats. The association publishes newsletters, reports, and educational material on rewilding, biodiversity, water management, and wildlife, and provides information about its organisation, local branches, membership, and events.

Its work includes advocating for the restoration of the Gudenå River and removal of barriers that affect aquatic habitats and migrating fish, as well as supporting initiatives such as Kragelund Mose and Molslaboratoriet. Danmarks Vilde Natur also raises awareness of wild grazing animals, including wild horses and cattle, and campaigns for conditions that allow wildlife to thrive. Members and the public can take part in nature walks, talks, presentations, and gatherings, including activities at Naturmødet. The association invites people to join and contribute financially, with membership options for adults and students.
