Dan Rice Days

Dan Rice Days is a community festival organized by the Dan Rice Days Committee in Girard, Pennsylvania. Held in honor of Dan Rice, the celebrated 19th-century circus performer and owner who made Girard his home, the event connects local history with activities and opportunities for residents and visitors. The 2026 festival is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, through Saturday, August 1.

The event welcomes vendors, crafters, food sellers, nonprofits, and businesses, with information and contract forms available for those interested in participating. A parade entry form is also offered, giving community members a way to join the celebration. Visitors can find event schedules and visitor information, while festival T-shirts are sold at the information table in a range of youth and adult sizes.

The committee is based at the Girard Borough Office and invites organizations to support the festival through sponsorship. It also acknowledges community partners, including the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority and Waste Management, for assistance with festival equipment and services.
