About DANWISE
DANWISE is a non-profit organization that aims to bridge the gender gap in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine (STEMM) and Humanity fields. Representing women from academia, industry, and business, DANWISE is dedicated to creating change and increasing awareness of gender imbalance in these areas. With a vision to reduce the gender gap, DANWISE implements initiatives and programs that focus on three key areas.
Firstly, they strive to raise awareness about gender imbalance in STEMM fields. Secondly, DANWISE works towards improving the hiring of women in higher academic and industry positions. Lastly, they aim to bring about new policies that enhance gender diversity at universities and in the industry.
While the society is currently based in the Copenhagen and Aarhus areas, DANWISE aspires to expand its presence to other Danish cities.
