Dana Pensiun Pupuk Kaltim Group (DP-PKTG) didirikan oleh PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur pada tanggal 24 April 2008 dengan tujuan mengelola Dana Pensiun karyawan dengan Program Iuran Pasti, dalam rangka memberikan jaminan hari tua berkesinambungan bagi karyawan PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur serta karyawan badan perusahaan di lingkungan PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur yang menjalani purna bakti beserta Pihak Yang Berhak dengan mengelola dana yang bersumber dari Peserta dan Pemberi Kerja. Sesuai dengan Undang-undang 4 tahun tahun 2023 tentang Pengembangan & Penguatan Sektor Keuangan yang menetapkan bahwa Dana Pensiun memiliki status sebagai badan hukum dan dapat memulai kegiatannya sebagai suatu Dana Pensiun sejak tanggal pengesahan Menteri Keuangan.
