King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, known as Darah, is a Saudi institution dedicated to serving the history, geography, literature, and heritage of Saudi Arabia, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Arab world. Established in 1972, the foundation supports research and public engagement through a broad range of historical and cultural services. Its offerings include publishing books and scholarly journals, registering oral histories, digitizing archives, depositing and accessing historical materials, and providing research resources and advisory services.

Darah also serves visiting researchers and scholarship students through dedicated programs and provides a research portal and complete works program. Its scientific projects include the Historical Atlas of the Prophet’s Biography and a history of Hajj. The foundation publishes Darah Journal, Reviews Journal, and an English-language journal, and shares news, events, visual and audio media, virtual tours, guides, and reports.
