DARE for Progress is a Tanzanian NGO championing health and well-being for adolescents, youth, girls, and women through community-centered solutions. Founded by young female medical students, DARE focuses on promoting equitable access to universal health services, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention.

The organization implements several impactful programs, including Prevention Sisters, which empowers young women to advocate for better access to HIV services, and the Uthubutu Mentorship Program, which nurtures future leaders to instigate change within their communities. DARE also runs the U=U Advocacy Program, raising awareness around HIV treatment and stigma, and is part of a broader coalition, COMPASS Africa, working towards improved health strategies and policy advancements.
