About Dareven
Dareven is a premium eyewear brand that was established in 2009 by M. Lionel Bertrand. Originally focusing on technologically advanced sunglasses with mineral lenses, Dareven remains unmatched in the market to this day.
With over 17 years of experience in the optical industry, Lionel Bertrand started his career as a representative at Buffard, then AIRESS DISTRIBUTION, and finally with OWP France. In 2015, he made the bold decision to establish a manufacturing facility in Mauritius, with the help of his French production manager, Philippe Morey. This move allowed Dareven to maintain French expertise while becoming more competitive on the international market.
The products are now of top quality. In 2019, Dareven launched its online store, offering direct factory sales. The brand also has a franchise of optical stores called La lunetterie de L'Isle de France in Mauritius.
