Darfur United

Darfur United (DU) is a unique men's soccer team composed of resettled refugees from Darfur, Sudan, situated in Östersund, Sweden. This dynamic team serves as a beacon of hope and resilience, using soccer as a platform for activism and community-building. Darfur United is deeply committed to not only the sport but also social change, participating in various humanitarian initiatives and global events, including the upcoming Street Child World Cup in Doha, Qatar.

The team is an extension of the work done by iACT, which promotes awareness and support for displaced individuals. Through their efforts, Darfur United has launched initiatives like the World Unity Football Alliance, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among teams outside traditional football organizations. They offer a wide range of opportunities for involvement, including sponsorships, gear purchases, and community support, making it easy for enthusiasts to engage with their mission.
