DarkSwap is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency swapping terminal built on NEAR Intents. Its live beta lets users initiate private-route swaps from Solana: DarkSwap prepares an order and displays the quote, fee, and deposit address, while users review the details and send funds themselves from their own wallets. The service requires no account or wallet connection, does not sign transactions, and does not custody user funds. Privacy is limited and route-dependent: Solana deposits remain publicly recorded, and no route guarantees anonymity.
DarkSwap is developing a NEAR dark pool, targeted for late October 2026 subject to access being enabled, and zero-knowledge pools for Solana, Ethereum, and Base. These pools are not publicly deployed; the ZK pools are awaiting public testnets, a production setup ceremony, and an independent audit. The brand also describes $DARK rewards, with qualifying holders eligible for scheduled wNEAR distributions funded by part of received creator fees. The remaining portion purchases ZEC tokens on Solana for the protocol treasury.
