About Dartmouth Alumni Mag
Dartmouth Alumni Magazine (DAM) is an editorially independent magazine that caters specifically to Dartmouth College alumni. Founded in 1905 by Ernest Martin Hopkins, DAM is published six times a year and reaches over 50,000 undergraduate alums of the College. The primary purpose of the magazine, as stated in its charter, is to serve the entire Dartmouth Family, including the Professional Schools and other graduate programs, with the goal of creating an informed and engaged alumni body.
DAM achieves this by reporting the news of the College and its alumni, facilitating the exchange of views on College and alumni affairs, and providing editorial content that relates to the shared and diverse experiences and interests of Dartmouth alumni. The magazine is owned and published by Dartmouth College, in cooperation with the Dartmouth Class Secretaries Association, and it upholds Dartmouth's principles of freedom of expression and accepted standards of good taste. With a focus on connecting alumni and keeping them informed, Dartmouth Alumni Magazine is an essential resource for the Dartmouth College community
