Das Bleibt

Das Bleibt is a personal service centered on preserving and documenting an individual’s life story for future generations. Its guiding idea, “Spurensuche – an ein Leben erinnern” (“Tracing a life – remembering a life”), invites clients to explore the experiences, influences, and changes that have shaped who they are. The process is presented as a collaborative search: the service provider works together with each client to capture what their life was like and what has mattered along the way.

The result is an individual package for the client’s descendants, intended to show how their life unfolded and who they are today. In this way, Das Bleibt aims to create a lasting record that family members can revisit and learn from. The website offers information about the service, its implementation, and the person behind it, as well as contact details. Its message is summed up in the name: a carefully documented life story can remain meaningful beyond the present and become a personal legacy for those who follow.
