Rutenfestkommission Ravensburg e.V. is a volunteer-led, nonprofit association dedicated to preserving and developing Ravensburg’s historic Rutenfest. Founded in 1911, the commission brings together people from across the community to help organise and shape the festival and foster connection with their hometown. Its official website is a central source of information for visitors, participants and residents, with festival dates, current news and a detailed programme of events.

The Rutenfest programme features traditional processions, music, drumming groups, fanfare bands, shooting competitions and archery, alongside the Rutentheater, performances by local students, family activities and youth concerts. Visitors can also find information about the festival’s history, songs, annual theme and commemorative badge. The site explains distinctive traditions and provides practical details, including contact information for the association and online registration announcements for selected activities. The festival culminates in events such as the historic procession, a fireworks display and a communal closing gathering. Through its organising work and public information, the Rutenfestkommission supports the continued celebration of this longstanding Ravensburg tradition.
