das Montagsbulletin

This personal blog is the online home of a self-described “blonde, bad mother and author on the brink of madness. ” Written with playful self-mockery and an exaggerated sense of drama, it shares the author’s thoughts on everyday life, the wider world and, naturally, beauty and cosmetic concerns. Its posts turn ordinary experiences into comic stories, including struggles with an irresistibly comfortable couch, a tongue-in-cheek winter hibernation experiment and the author’s place in the fan culture surrounding a long-running Bavarian television series.

The site also introduces the writer and provides a contact page. Rather than presenting a catalogue of products or commercial services, the blog offers personal essays and humorous observations for readers who enjoy candid, light-hearted commentary. Its conversational voice, deliberately absurd explanations and recurring “Montagsbulletin” updates give the site a distinctive character.

Although the posts are written in German, their central appeal is relatable: a witty, self-deprecating account of family life, writing and the small mishaps of daily living
