About DataGénero
DataGénero is a feminist and Latin American civil society organization dedicated to gender equality. Our approach is transfeminist and intersectional, reimagining data work and artificial intelligence critically. Our projects focus on data collection and analysis, automation tools with AI, training in data transfeminism, ethical AI, and gender-inclusive indicators.
We translate relevant texts into Spanish, produce articles, reports, and books on data transfeminism and AI, advise governments on gender mainstreaming in data for inclusive policy-making, support civil society organizations in inclusive data practices, and run awareness campaigns on gender perspectives in data and AI. We also strengthen regional alliances on data transfeminisms.
