DATAMITE is a brand that aims to unleash the monetisation potential of data. They provide a modular, open-source, and multi-domain framework to improve data monetising, interoperability, trading, and exchange for European companies. This framework consists of software modules, training materials, and business materials.

The mission of DATAMITE is to empower European companies to become relevant players in the data economy by improving the way they manage and share their data. They have three main objectives: to develop a modular open-source framework for data management and sharing, to create a data sharing module focused on interoperability and sovereignty, and to provide open-source modules for data governance, quality, and security. DATAMITE also aims to deploy and evaluate their framework in different pilots and data sharing environments, as well as improve the capabilities of EU companies by providing models, indicators, and training materials.

Their team consists of experts from 26 organizations across 11 countries, working together to achieve these objectives.
